Setting up a campaign in AdSpace Adskeeper involves two parts: configuring the campaign and adding ads. For new tests or first runs, stick to only the required fields. This provides a broad reach and enables the system to learn faster.
Campaign Setup
Begin the campaign setup by following these steps:
- Open the AdSpace Adskeeper dashboard.
- Click the +Create button.
- Choose Campaign.
General Settings
Fill out the General settings section:
- Enter the Campaign name. Enter a clear, internal name.
- Pick one Campaign type:
🔸 Product promotion: Drive sales and loyalty for a product or service (most common).
🔸 Content promotion: Send users to informational or entertaining articles, there is no direct CTA.
🔸 Push notification: Deliver ads via device push on desktop, mobile, or tablet; styled like system notifications.
🔸 Search feed: Promote search engine feed results by keywords; tailored for search campaigns.
- Enter the Advertiser name in the appropriate field. Make sure you’ve only used letters, numbers and spaces.
Typically your product, brand, or site name (appears under the ad title). For Search feed campaigns, put the keyword here; it won’t show on widgets but powers machine learning.
After launch, the Advertiser name field can’t be edited.
Campaign Targeting
Go to Campaign Targeting and complete each section.
- Geo: Choose target countries. Optionally include/exclude specific regions and cities. If you don’t pick locations, you’ll target worldwide, which can affect your stats.
- Platform, OS, connection: Set these as needed.
- Browsers, language, phone price: Select from the dropdowns.
Audience Targeting
Include or exclude specific audiences. Create your Audience first under Retargeting Audiences; once it exists, it will appear in the campaign dropdown (otherwise it stays empty).
Navigate to the related guide to find out more about the Audience Targeting Functionality.
When finished with Campaign setup, click Continue to move to Budget and limits.
Budget and Limits
Choose daily and total limits:
- Unlimited: No budget or click cap; runs until you stop it, or it reaches its end date, or until the budget on your account runs out.
- By budget: Stops when the set budget is reached (min daily or total: $50).
- By clicks: Stops at your click cap.
CPC: A default CPC applies to all ads in the campaign; you can override per ad later if needed.
Find out more about setting up CPC HERE.
If you use budget or click caps, you can enable even delivery to spread spend evenly across the day. Recommended starting point: 500 clicks/day (or the budget equivalent) to smooth hourly traffic and costs.
Schedule
In the Schedule section, choose whether new ads go live automatically after approval or require manual start. You can also set specific dates, days, and hours to run.
When done, click Continue to Conversion tracking.
Conversion Tracking
Pick a tracking method that fits your setup and follow the relevant guide: Adskeeper Pixel (JS) or Postback.
Pixel (JS code) - Effective way to track the performance of your campaigns - when a user clicks on your ad and lands on your website, the pixel records the user's actions, such as making a purchase. This data is then sent back to Adskeeper, where it can be used to optimize your campaign and improve its performance. Pixel code also allows you to display ads to visitors who have previously interacted with your site.
Postback - Server to server integration used to report a user's action on a website or app. Postback is the most precise method. It allows you to track multiple conversions and usually requires a tracker.
- Create up to 3 conversion goals: one primary (e.g., purchase or lead) plus two secondary (e.g., add-to-cart, newsletter signup).
- Tracking Tags: Add tags and use the available macros (shown as chips in the UI) to capture precise data.
- Click Publish to save your campaign.
Create Ads
To create ads, follow these steps:
- Go to the Campaigns tab.
- Click +Create → Ads.
- Pick the campaign(s) to add the ad to.
