Compliance Risk Levels at Adskeeper
To ensure a clear, secure, and trustworthy advertising ecosystem, the Adskeeper compliance team applies a risk-oriented moderation approach when reviewing creatives. Within this system, each rejection reason is categorized under a compliance risk Level: Low, Medium, or High.
These classifications indicate the degree to which a violation may affect policy compliance, user safety, partnerships with publishers, and the overall stability of the Adskeeper network.
🔴 High Risk
High-risk violations include issues such as:
- Content that threatens user or platform security;
- Illegal or legally restricted material;
- Severe ethical or policy breaches;
- Deceptive, manipulative or fraudulent advertising practices;
- Lack of transparency or disclosures required by policy;
- Major violations of platform standards or publisher requirements.
Violations in this category are considered critical and require immediate action.
Possible consequences
Advertisers who repeatedly submit High-risk violations are at risk of facing one or more of the following measures:
- Mandatory manual moderation for all creatives;
- Lower priority in the moderation queue;
- Limited or disabled rotation on premium publishers;
- Account suspension or blocking;
- Restrictions on certain account actions (e.g., creating, editing, or copying creatives);
- Additional enforcement measures will depend on the severity of the violation.
Final decisions regarding enforcement are made at the sole discretion of the Compliance team.
🟠 Medium Risk
Medium-risk violations typically involve:
- Inaccurate or inconsistent presentation of information;
- Misleading elements that do not directly threaten user safety;
- Technical or visual issues affecting ad quality;
- Mismatches between language, targeting or geographic parameters.
In such cases, advertisers are expected to correct the issues and resubmit their creatives in accordance with the Compliance team’s recommendations.
Possible consequences
For Medium-risk violations, the Compliance team will adhere to the following framework:
- The creative will be rejected with recommendations for improvement;
- No immediate account-level restrictions are applied;
- Repeated violations may reduce moderation priority;
- Ongoing issues may trigger additional reviews or stricter manual moderation, potentially increasing review time.
Failure to address recommendations or repeatedly submitting similar offenses may be treated as elevated risk and could lead to measures similar to High-risk violations.
🟢 Low Risk
Low-risk violations generally include issues that are:
- Primarily technical or visual;
- Minor language inaccuracies;
- Decorative or contextual elements that require adjustment.
Possible consequences
If such issues occur occasionally:
- The creative may be rejected for minor edits;
- Recommendations will be provided for correction.
These violations:
- Do not affect account status;
- Do not restrict account functionality;
- Do not change the moderation priority.
