# Type B Ads and Borderline Content Policies and Guidelines

Some practices that are on the verge of crossing the line of acceptability, but do not fully violate industry guidelines, are allowed within the system. These ads and landing pages often contain controversial or risky content that pushes boundaries, yet still falls within permissible limits. However, such content requires careful review to ensure it doesn’t eventually breach any rules or result in rejection. 

**Important Note:** Ads of this nature typically have a more limited traffic reach. To determine if your ad falls under this category, please monitor notifications in the Dashboard.

This type of advertising content primarily covers four areas:

- Sexual connotation
- Gross and Disgusting Content
- Risky offers
- Celebrity endorsements and imitation web pages approach

Let’s carefully review each aspect individually.

### Sexual Connotation

Sexual provocation, sexual connotation, suggestive images, casual close-to-adult dating offers, explicit phrasing, etc. are permitted within this type. We permit the use of suggestive and explicit images; however, pornography, prostitution, and aberrant sexual practices are strictly prohibited.

### Gross and Disgusting Content

A page/ ad design containing gross and disgusting content may include disturbing imagery, unsanitary visuals, or any elements intended to shock and repulse the audience. We allow shocking and unsettling content within this content type; however, depictions of dead bodies, violence acts, illegal activities, consumption or use of restricted substances and similar type of content are strictly prohibited.

### Risky Offers

Financial offers, trading, binaries, ICO and cryptocurrency transactions, torrents, video streamings and all other kinds of restricted content.

### Celebrity endorsements and imitation web pages approach

Pages containing illegal celebrity endorsement, doctors and physicians illegal endorsement, porn actors, web design pages that imitate popular internet sources. Please note, such landing pages must not include disrespectful, aggressive, or offensive claims or manipulated images.

### **Fake Celebrity Endorsement Funnel**

What is this?

Landing pages with a fake celebrity endorsement advertorial are linked to creative designs that adhere to its concept/storyline.

**Ensure compliance with the following requirements for this type of funnel:**

- Advertorials must not contain disrespectful, aggressive, or offensive claims.
- Advertorials must not include manipulated images that are aggressive, offensive, or misleading.
- Thumbnails must not feature celebrities unrelated to the advertorial content.
- Ad text and thumbnails must accurately represent the advertorial’s message.
- Headlines and descriptions must remain non-aggressive and inoffensive.

### **Do’s and Don’ts for B-Type Ads**

✅ **Do’s:**

- Use of colloquial language, slang, abbreviations, and expressions
- Adult topics
- Provocative or striking headlines and descriptions
- Implied nudity (e.g., an image of a topless woman viewed from behind)
- Sexually suggestive material
- Strange, peculiar, unsettling, or visually challenging images

❌ **Don’ts:**

- Pornographic content
- Content related to prostitution
- Nudity or explicit depictions of genitalia
- Visual representation of internal organs
- Depictions of vomiting or bodily excretions
- Content related to terrorism or violent acts
- Exploitation of minors
- Human trafficking-related material
- Promotion or depiction of drug use
- Deceptive advertising practices
- Offensive imagery related to religion or specific groups
- Content that violates legal or regulatory standards
- Obscene or offensive language
- Imagery of dead bodies, human organs, or similar graphic content

‼️ **Important Note:** B-type creatives encompass both NC-17 and NSFW content, allowing for a slightly broader scope of sexual and shocking material. However, pornography, full nudity, and realistic depictions of vital organs remain strictly prohibited.
