Adskeeper Campaign Recommendations
At Adskeeper, we focus on building lasting partnerships with our clients. Strong campaign performance is an important part of achieving this goal. Use the recommendations below as a starting point for planning and optimizing your campaign.
Keep in mind that every product and campaign requires an individual approach.
Budget
- Native advertising is a long-term process rather than a quick test. Do not expect significant results immediately after launch.
- For an initial campaign test, we recommend a budget sufficient to generate approximately 5,000-10,000 clicks. This volume provides enough data to assess your sales funnel, identify the most effective ads and placements, and remove underperforming ones.
- Calculate the required budget using the current competitive CPC. For example, if the recommended CPC for your product is $0.12, a 5,000-click test would require a budget of approximately $600.
Creatives
- Launch the campaign with 5-10 ads using different creative concepts. This will help you determine which approach works best for your product.
- More information about effective ad creative practices is available HERE.
- If you need ads designed specifically for your product, contact your manager to request support from our Creative Department.
Targeting
- In most cases, create separate campaigns for different GEOs. CPC levels vary between countries, so using one CPC for several GEOs may prevent you from targeting each market effectively.
- We also recommend separating campaigns by device type: Mobile and Desktop. This makes optimization easier because user behavior and CPC levels can differ significantly between devices.
CPC (Cost Per Click)
- Adskeeper uses an auction-based traffic model, so a competitive CPC is essential for attracting sufficient traffic. Starting with the minimum CPC may limit your campaign’s delivery.
- Contact your account manager for guidance on selecting the most suitable CPC for your campaign.
Tracking
Set up and test conversion tracking before launching the campaign. This will help you determine which traffic sources and ads generate conversions. You can then use this data to make informed optimizations and improve campaign performance.
Optimization
- Review widget performance in the selective bidding interface every day. Based on the results, adjust the CPC for individual sources by changing their coefficients:
- If the conversion cost is higher than planned, slightly reduce the coefficient to lower the CPC.
- If the conversion cost is lower than planned, increase the coefficient to attract more traffic from the widget.
- If a widget has spent twice the target conversion cost without producing the expected results, consider disabling the source.
- Review ad performance every 2-3 days and pause ads that are not delivering results, particularly those with no conversions or an excessively high conversion cost.
