Tracking setup for an In-app event
AdSpace Dashboard Settings
1. Start by creating (or editing) a campaign as a client in the AdSpace dashboard.
2. At the Conversion Tracking step, select the Postback option.
3. Set up the Main Goal:
- Create a new goal or select an existing one.
- Event Name: We recommend using a unique name, though any name will work.
- Conversion Category: Select the appropriate category.
- Conversion Value: Assign a value if necessary.
4. Configure Additional Settings: This section is available under the Main Goal, Additional 1, and Additional 2 settings.
- Choose your preferred options.
- Two additional goals are available for more detailed conversion tracking.
5. Configure Tracking Link Settings:
- Select Manual Setup.
- Leave parameters as they are (default settings).
6. Click Get Postback URL
7. Copy the postback link
Adjust Tracker Settings
To track an install event, follow these steps:
1. Go to the AppView and select the desired application from the list.
2. Click on the application, select Manage campaigns and click on Go to Custom links
3. Copy the URL.
4. Then proceed to the Encoding tool and paste the Adjust link (from step 3) in the first field.
5. Paste the Postback URL (from the Adskeeper Main Goal setup) into the corresponding field.
6. Copy the generated URL and use it for teaser creation in the Adskeeper Dashboard.
You can combine in-app events and installs into a single callback link. This allows you to track the install event plus up to two additional events (using two event tokens).
Tracking setup for an In-app event
If you want to set up tracking In-app event, you need to follow these steps:
1. Go to the AppView and select the desired application from the list.
2. Navigate to the Events tab and copy the token for the event you wish to track.
3. In AppView, select All Apps and click Go to Custom Links.
4. Click on the specific application.
5. Copy the URL.
6. Go to the Encoding tool and paste the Adjust link (from step 5) into the first field.
7. Map your events:
- Enter the first Event Token.
- Paste the Postback URL from Adskeeper that corresponds to Additional Goal 1.
- (Optional) Enter the second Event Token.
8. Paste the Postback URL from Adskeeper that corresponds to Additional Goal 2.
9. Copy the final URL and use it for teaser creation in the Adskeeper Dashboard.
